Early Life
The Mälzer team was born on January 22, 1971 in Elmshorn. After graduating from high school in 1990, he carried out civil service in the hospital before devoting himself to his desire, cooking. From 1992 to 1995 he finished the internship as a chef at the Hamburg Hotel Intercontinental. After completing this internship, Mälzer went to London, where he was originally employed at the Ritz hotel for two years. He then works in a variety of hotels and restaurants, such as Jalan Neal, where Jamie Oliver is still not known to be cooked. Both have friendship to this day.
In 1997 he returned to Germany and worked at various Hamburg restaurants. One of the first stops is, for example, the Tafelhaus restaurant, which was operated by Christian Rach until it was closed in 2010. He took over his first restaurant along with partners in August 2002: “White House” at the Harbor Museum at Öelgönne.
In December 2003, he began his first cooking show on television with “not good, no”.
Career
As a chef and entrepreneur, the Mälzer team still runs four restaurants alone. He runs his first restaurant, “Das Weiasse Haus” until 2007. In June 2009 he opened what might be the most famous restaurant in Hamburg: The Bullleri in Hamburg’s Schanzenviertel. In December 2012, Hausmann was added at Frankfurt airport, and there was one more at Düsseldorf airport. Since November 2016 he has run another restaurant in Hamburg: Good news on the edge of Alster.
The Mälzer team became very famous for many of its television appearances.
From 2003 to 2007, he modulated the “not good, no” show, where he also cooked. This was nominated for German TV awards in 2004 and 2007.
From 2004 to 2007 he also appeared in the ZDF program “Johannes B. Kerner – Cooking in Kerner” and the VOX program “Die Kocharena”.
From 2009 to 2014 he presented his own performance “Mälzer Koch team!” on Ard. But not only as a cook, but also as a judge and coach, he can be seen from 2013 to 2015 in Sat.1 Casting Casting shows “it feels”.
One of the most successful performances is the “kitchen impossible” show, which has been running since 2016 and was awarded German television prize in 2017.
Since November 2019 he has modified a vox cooking event “ready to beef!”.
Apart from his career as a TV chef and restaurant owner, the Mälzer team constantly wrote a new cookbook. From 2004 to 2018, a total of nine recipes books had been published.
The Mälzer team is also committed to the causes of charity. He is an ambassador to the German community to save the Karam people and have supported the daughter of Hamburg Kicken Mit Herz with the heart since 2008. Since 2012 he has also become an ambassador to “Schau Hin!
