Prince Charles, or his full name, His Majesty Royal Charles Philip Arthur George, Prince Wales and Duke of Cornwall, is the first son of Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip. Prince Charles was born on November 14, 1948 at Buckingham Palace, Elizabeth II’s oldest son and Prince Philip in London. After his mother Elisabeth raised the England throne in 1952, Charles became the heir of the throne and Duke of Cornwall. From the beginning, Charles’s care was intended to prepare him for his future office as king. Marriage with Diana gave birth to Prince William’s children (June 21, 1982) and Prince Harry (September 15, 1984). Diana died on August 31, 1997 after a tragic car accident in Paris.
