Early life
Georg Kofler was born in 1957 to a tree logger and factory worker in South Tyrol, Italy. His father died when Kofler was four years old, so he grew as half orphaned in a simple state. As a result, Kofler began working in various fields while still in school. Among other things, it works as a dishwasher in a hotel and as a ski instructor. After graduating from high school, Kofler began studying journalism and communication science, which he completed in 1983 with his doctorate.
